The temporary exhibition rooms on the first floor are bathed in natural light. Large trapezoidal cones diffuse the natural light that is captured at the top. A grating breaks up the incident rays while frosted glass diffuses the light and conceals the presence of the grating: no direct light, no excess natural light for the conservation of the works. In temporary exhibition spaces, artificial lighting is designed in close connection with the natural lighting project. Artificial lighting completes the dark moments of the day. It takes over at the end of the afternoon; this artificial lighting is dynamic, depending on the amount of natural light provided.
