MLyon
The lighting of the MLyon building is part of the nocturnal landscape of the Part-Dieu district in Lyon, with functional lighting of the forecourt from the active base and lighting of the four façades, which constitutes the «silhouette light». This silhouette is illuminated by very intensive brushes of cold white light that shave each spine to reveal the metallic material and the «silver» tint of the vertical spines. The light of the base is in accordance with the colour temperature of the public lighting. Inside, the artificial lighting of the atrium - a very luminous space with a large glass roof open to the outside - recalls the external lighting, with a continuity of the active base for the functional lighting, the lighting of the wooden spines, the graphics of each level highlighted by a line of light and the luminous marking of the undersides of the lifts.
