Rehabilitation of an iconic garage Lyon, opened in 1932. A joint project (garage, showroom, office, parking) on five floors, decorated with three interior patios and terraces. The historic facades and ramps are maintained. The facades, very impressive by their size, have many windows overlooking large parts voids. In the spirit of the modernist movement, lighting design enhances the interior light and the perception of it from the street. The space opens on the night and the massive effect facades fades. For the sake of economy, fixtures are not dedicated to daytime use. They have a dual function: functional day, decorative night. The project is awarded with the Grand Prix SIMI 2015 in the renovated building category.
