cultural hall in Gray

A 4000 ft² covered cultural and events hall and a 5700 ft² music school have been installed in an old building at the heart of a city small island. Developed by the SILT architecture firm, the project aims to reveal the volume and silhouette of this former wine hall, in order to give it a new meaning in the public space. The hall becomes a large volume bathed in light, with a light effect coming from the roof and chandeliers enlivening the entire space, particularly the roof framework. The light helps to convey the new identity of this renovated building, and the whole finds its place in the nocturnal space of the heart of the town.
