development of left bank low dock
Reconversion of the lower left bank wharves of the Seine in Rouen and the Waddington Peninsula. Sequenced in three parts, the lower quays are transformed into a landscaped park, backstage gardens and a large event-driven esplanade. The latter is designed as a multi-purpose venue to host multiple events (Armada, St Romain fairgrounds, Rouen beaches, concerts…) where everything is done to facilitate the production of events in a concern for environmental quality. The site is completed by the development of the peninsula Waddington right bank. There, the project extends the tide gauges promenade and offers a high quality reception area for circuses and international productions. The lighting project deploys a soft and colourful night walk as well as flexible lighting tools for the sites.
