developments of Jules Ferry square
Jules Ferry square in Lorient hosts many events including the famous Interceltic Festival of Lorient. We propose to find on the heart of town, a square facilitating reception and event production combined with a large meadow, true green lung and crossings places of use. At the foot of convention center, a “square of tides” extends the port and can find a contact with water play. The landscape, such as lighting scenography of the project, offer to find the character “oriental” of the city, a real door of spice trade, textiles, plants and other treasures. From tall poles, a bluish direction of light covers the park and the Tide Square. Projections of spices adorn the walls in the background, and on platforms, kiosks, real treasure trunks, create spaces for user-friendly services.
