On the site of the former Hôtel-Dieu, Dijon city now hosts the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (International City of Gastronomy and Wine), to promote the «French gastronomic meal» listed as part of UNESCO’s intangible heritage. The entire programme answers the necessity to combine tradition and modernity, as well as the image of this gastronomic culture. This project is built around numerous facilities (hotels, restaurants, shops, cultural centre, school, eco-district…). Our mission includes the illumination of the main façades of the future Cité: Hôtel-Dieu chapel and gastronomy pavilion.
