Ki project
The former head office of the Caisse d’Epargne Rhône Alpes in the Part-Dieu business district is getting a facelift. Designed by architects Sou Fujimoto, Dream and Exndo, the operation is part of the Part-Dieu urban project and its ambitions to build a new «contemporary metropolitan hub». On the northern bow of the district, the building plays the role of the district’s lantern: its office programme rises up to create a large atrium, an active base for urban uses (restaurants, cafés, shops). Our lighting project highlights the structure of the façades to unify the programs (housing, offices), while the active base benefits from a soft, overall light. The green spaces offered by the project, in patios and on the large terraces, are illuminated by light that respects biodiversity.
