Knoll Pavilion
The Knoll Pavilion exhibited at the Milan Furniture Fair was developped in close collaboration with the architcture firm OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen and landscape architects Jeroen Provoost. The project for this new edition is an architectural statement centered around biodiversity, following a segmented plan playing with transparency in its verticality. Knoll furniture is used to create an intimate, abstract landscape setting, while maintaining a uniformity that links these sensitive elements. Large suspended light frames highlight these zones within the 6,460 ft2 pavilion, giving a feeling of complete illumination. In a very homogeneous, neutral overall lighting scheme, accents of light bring out the various furniture with warmer notes, while the tropical gardens are enhanced by colored notes.
