multimodal connection

As part of the construction of a multimodal and urban link between Vitry-sur-Seine and Alfortville, three crossing structures (one on the Seine, the other two on railways) and the long green borderline are illuminated. The project brings together the riverbanks and weaves the future city, offering a balcony on the Seine, new walks, a new image of the place… The lighting of the roads and structures is integrated, discreet and saves energy and maintenance, mainly LED. It respects the Seine’s biodiversity corridor and the visual comfort of its users (all flows are turned towards the structure and no light points are visible). The soft lane dedicated to the TZEN buses is not lit but marked with retro-reflective beacons. Smartcity management tools are planned: feedback on light points (GPRS chips, consumption, ballast, state, etc…).
