Slided under the ring road, that cover it from rain, this square is able to host multiple neighbourhood events, like an outdoor concert hall. Dances and concerts takes place on a large shiny black floor. The lighting is attached on seven stage truss that are suspended under the structural beams of the ring road. Made of two foil of steel, the trusses hide the lighting fixtures for stage effect, public lighting and the fixtures dedicated to highlight the ring road in blue, according to the lighting Masterplan adopted by the city of Paris. The meadow for leisure activities and large green areas on each side of the boulevard, are punctuated with micro architecture : “the goldens” which are lighted by multifunctional poles. We also light the new community center as a sort of lanterne, in subtle tones.
