public lighting workshop in Mermoz district
How to approach an ANRU site? How to find the “gateways” to the site’s actors? Through a series of public consultation experiences, we have developed a sensitivity (more than a method) and tools for understanding, participation and co-production. These include, for example, conversation, mobile conferences, night-time diagnostics while walking, light surveys. We have learned to restore what we have felt and understood and, above all, to feed the dialogue to spice up the project. The central question was the place offered to the actors in the city by those who build it (what acts do they offer to the city, what kind of uses do they propose?) and what tools they put in place to help the inhabitants “take root”.
