ACE first prize lighting design award 2010
The lighting project sets off and highlights various key elements of the site : water, tropical vegetation and the building’s wooden architecture (inside and outside). The project is structured around the “rain path” glass wall, wich is lit up by bluish and white shades - a multimedia facade acting as a backdrop to the beach ensemble. Lighting effects throughout the building are centrally controlled by lighting scenarios using DMX. They interact with water fountains and guide visitors through a series of pool facilities.
