renovation of heritage buildings
Design and lighting of several heritage structures in Menton (the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel, Chapels of white and black penitents, Bastion, etc.). Real landmarks in the historic site of Menton, they are visible both at the scale of the pedestrian walking around them and from more distant visions. The lighting project is intended to be in connection and in line with this night landscape. It is a question of finely revealing the heritage by giving it a new balanced appearance, without distorting the remarkable architecture of these buildings. The lighting is in keeping with the spirit of the place and is intended to be delicate, sober and warm. Generally speaking, soft and uniform lighting covers the façades, followed by more intensive and directed lighting to bring out the singular elements, verticalities and modenatures of the site. The lighting equipment is concealed everywhere.
