thermes l'Oréal in Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains

Renovation of the existing building of the Thermes de Saint Gervais Les Bains built in the early 1990s. The landscaped project and interior scenography of the building are developed around the theme of “Water in all its states”. The metaphor of water declines between the gaseous and liquid states to give a layout comprising three major landscape entities: at the rear of the building is the fog garden, the Gontard well constitutes a condensation garden in front of the main façade of the building, while the interior assumes liquid water. As close as possible to this concept, we design the lighting of the outside spaces, the lighting of the façade, the lighting of the outside thermal path. The whole is designed in white, golden and soft shades of light, enhancing the luxury of the proposed experience.
