three squares in Saint-Omer
Lighting design for the redevelopment of the public spaces in the three squares of the Saint-Omer hyper-centre (“pays d’art et d’histoire”), and the roads that connect them. Re-qualification of night-time uses, staging of public spaces and historic buildings, sustainable development approach… Lighting responds to the functions of the different spaces. By prioritising them, it contributes to the legibility of the city. The perimeter of reflection is extended to the entire city centre. Over the entire pedestrian area, customised luminaires illuminate pavements and terraces and reveal the facades that border the squares . Large, slim poles are set in the lines of trees. They are fitted with scenic and sound projectors to accompany events.
